Typically on the days I lift I do all my cardio afterwards so the whole workout tends to be about 2 hours long. Do you think eating after my cardio and weights is too long of time span?

I keep reading that you should eat after your lift for the body to replenish/help build muscle.

    Thanks..

I personally wouldn't do that much cardio PWO.

I tend to lose muscle very quickly that way.

If I were lifting weights, I'd do a hiit or intervals session afterwards. Something short.

Then save the longer sessions on days I don't lift and do them in the AM.

I'll give this a shot and see how I do. Lately after say leg days it's just alot to do too much cardio afterwards.

    Thanks everyone for your replies.

Cut back on the cardio. That length of cardio done PWO is not a good idea. I'd probably keep PWO steady state, if you're choosing to do it at that time, to no more than 30 minutes.

Ok, I'll move the cardio to a different time and try some other things mentioned.

    Thanks

Well, everyone wants to bench 600 lbs and have 2% bodyfat tomorrow.. :)

Seriously, I'm not working towards a show but at this stage but as far as timing I want to keep dropping bf at a steady clip until I am where I want to be. I'm at 23% as of yesterday and would like to reach 12-15 and evaluate everything and then make a new game plan.

I guess your tactical approach then would depend on how much muscle you are willing to sacrifice to lose bodyfat.

Right, and I've been watching the lean body mass drop slowly..guess it's a trade-off at this point.
