How do you do this together? Cook separate and then combine?
It sounds weird to me but is it good?

I cook them seperately then combine. I only use salt to season the eggs.

Some cook them together. I think its about preference. :)

I have made them together, but I can't stand egg whites, so I choose not to eat this.

Love oatmeal with some egg whites.

Cook seperate and then take scoops of each to form the perfect bite.

That's the way I do it. I have already added cinnamon and splenda to the oatmeal.

Ok, so when you cook them together do you put the raw egg whites in the uncooked oatmeal with (or without water?) And then how long in the microwave?

I eat them various ways at different times. Usually it's an egg white 'omlet' w/ black pepper and sometimes sea salt eaten by itself followed by a bowl of oatmeal.

Other times it is a pancake or waffle by mixing the raw egg white together w/ the dry oats, add cinnamon and beat or blend in a blender. Pour like reg pancake batter and YUMMY. There are tons of variations and additives to this: splenda, fruit, protein powder and/or extracts and sf syrup. Assumption of course is if you can or cannot have any of these items on your new plan.

I either make a protein pancake with blended oats, egg whites, cottage cheese and cinnamon or make "bread pudding" in the microwave.

This is what I did this morning:
    0.5 cup oats
0.5 to 1.0 scoop protein powder
    6 TBSP egg whites

Microwave it for a minute. It comes out a little like bread pudding, with some soft gooey bits in the middle. I like it!

I have heard people talk about egg whites and oatmeal, but I never knew people actually mixed it up! I always make oatmeal, and also some egg whites, but I never would have though to cook them at the same time. Does everyone cook them in the microwave? What about stove top methods?

I love eggwhites and oats made into a pancake.

I whip my eqqwhites (with a stick whip/blender) together, then stir in oats, and cinn. Cook in a hot skillet sprayed with pam. I used to add cottage, protein powder etc, but found i didnt need it.

One of my all time favorite breakfasts.

Never thought I like this either, but I love it, similiar to all others, can't remember where I found it:

    1/2 c oats
4 egg whites (prepare in a bowl ahead of time)
a little sweetner -I use stevia or agave
1/2 scoop vanilla whey protein powder

Cooks oats as recommended. Once they are boiling reduce heat and stir in egg whites. Stir until the eggs cook-they'll turn white. 4-5 min. total. At the end add the pp and sweetner, stir well. Top with almonds --optional.

I cook mine together on the stove. When the water is just starting to boil, I toss in the eggwhites. It makes the oatmeal a lot more fluffier and filling! Then I throw in a little vanilla protein and lots of cinnamon. Tastes amazing!!

Funny, I've eaten 12 egg whites today already! I've never eaten so many eggs in my life.

Nope, I've never thought of combining them. I just eat the eggs hard boiled first and then have my oatmeal as a treat.
