I have a friend who is 6'1" and currently weighs 280. His goal is fat loss and he has quite a bit to lose. If I take his body weight x 11, that would be 3080 calories.

Does that sound like an appropriate place to start?

What about protein? How many grams should he have?

    Well, that was easy! Thanks.

My friend had someone else helping him and gave him a "plan" that had him eating at just under 1500 calories. Broke my heart.

    I know, right!

So I helped my friend get a plan together and he sent me a text the other day talking about how much food he was eating! I encouraged him to breathe and just keep eating. lol
I talked to him yesterday and the scale is moving and his pants are fitting better. I said...Keep eating!
He's actually still under eating but we're bring his calories up slowly.
    Thank god for LBC!
