    Interesting. What do you think of the article, especially in terms of the point about the shoulder blades should be over the bar vs the shoulders themselves?

    I think it was dave tate who recommended getting the shoulders behidn the bar, which never works for me, probably becuase of the torso length.

    Hmm...

    What I've noticed is that people who are weak off the floor generally benefit from having their shoulders back. People who are strong off the floor, doesn't make much of a difference. But this is just an impression. I haven't gone to the trouble to really make a systematic check.

    I am weak off the floor with sumo, just like most sumo lifters.

    getting the shoulders behind the bar would cause a whole hap of issues
