Pre Workout Nutrition

    Have looked through the threads and found lots about post workout nutrition not so much on pre workout, apart from the pre workout supplements.
    I train at 6am and have a 30 minute window to get ready and eat.
    what are the best pre workout options ? shakes/BCAA's ?

    My coach told me to use BCAAs if training early in the morning

    if you absolutely cannot eat, then take 10g of BCCA in water.

    Thanks for the reply Ileene, Ive been having a whey shake and a few rice cakes and it works well.

    awesome! then you're set.

    Another option for those that want some of their regular meal is eat half, train, follow up with pwo meal and then later have the other half of am meal.
