PWO - Gluten free? Does it have to have sugar?

    So I know one of the goals of PWO is to spike insulin. I know fruit isn't optimal, but here's what I'd like to try: I'd like to look for gluten-free PWO options and possibly other options that are not sugar related? As in, all-fruit is maybe ok because it's natural fruit sugar, but not jelly, because of the added sugar.

    Suggestions?

    plain rice cakes sprinkled with sea salt or homemade sugarless jam made w. stevia
    cream of rice w. capella drops and stevia
    white potatoes
    white rice, mixed with your protein powder and a little water- rice pudding
    Van's gluten free mini waffles
    Rice Chex cereal, with vanilla protein powder/ice water used as milk

    i mostly chose rice cakes and jam.
