My husband and I have jut started TTC. I am a group fitness instructor and am on a regular lifting schedule. I have heard stories of women teaching their full class load until their water broke in the middle of class and other women have 5 miscarriages in a row. Any suggestions as to activity level and weights when TTC and throughout the pregnancy?
Look into making sure you are eating well. Have your OB/GYN check all your hormone levels and make sure they are high enough and stable. Doing a lot of exercise decreases your progesterone and raises estrogen. That imbalance can cause the miscarriage.
Ok thanks for the help! I already follow a basic eating plan and am working on slowly increasing my calories to a good maintaince level and don't wanna quit teaching but wanna make sure I've got the best chances I can!
