If you could go back to day one of bodybuilding/training and start over with the knowledge/experience you have today, what would you do differently and why?

Eat more, do an actual program, not skip legs 3 weeks out of every month.

I wouldn't have done a competition and wouldn't have damaged my metabolism forever with 2+ hour cardio sessions and low carbs.

    :(

I find that if I had the ability to change anything.. I wouldn't. I don't have regrets but have made mistakes and have learned from them.. I wouldn't be who I am today if I didn't make those mistakes. :)

I think I would try to develop a thicker skin a lot quicker. It took me a long time to not give a shit about what other people said which constantly fueled an unhealthy binge eating habit. I'm a whole lot better now at telling people where to get off.

I try not to put too much energy into "what would you do differently?" types of questions. I'm a firm believer that everything that happens (good, bad or otherwise), happens for a reason. Sure, there are things I wish were different, but had they been different I'm not sure I'd be where I am today. I cherish my fitness history and while I've not yet made the cover of Oxygen or been awarded with a huge sponsorship or even taken home any hardware (yet) - I know I'm on the right track and I'm lovin the journey!!

Nutrition would be top of the list, back then, young and stupid and a high metabilism, equal mikey d's and pizza for lunch.
