My name is Elaine Thrasher. I am currently residing in Daphne, Al with my husband of almost 11 years and our 3 kids, 9yr old son, 6yr old son and a 3yr old daughter. I grew up mainly in the Colorado, and Nebraska area, however I moved around a lot as my father was in the US Navy. After graduating high school I also joined the Navy and spent almost 8 years in before being medically retired due to my multiple sclerosis diagnosis. For a long time I let that diagnosis and other things (like me being a clutz and continually hurting myself) get in the way of my emotional and physical health. I've been following LBC since around 2011, but this is the first time I'm a client (thanks Eric and Amy for starting this Platinum program). I have quite a bit of weight to lose, but I'm committed to getting there and have a very firm grasp on my "why".
